Been awaiting this release from Vancouver born producer Felix Cartal for quite a while now but with all the hype surrounding it, I was scared that the whole release would be just sucked into a big black hole of hype. How stupid was I to ever doubt that this wouldn’t be good. Following the release of his album ‘Popular Music’ and a single in the form of ‘Volcano’, his second single ‘World Class Driver’ gets a remix makeover from the likes of Harvard Bass, Santiago & Bushido and Keatch. Proving that choosing your remixers are just as important when putting out an EP, all the remixes pull out all the stops for some serious bass heavy action. Harvard Bass delivers a simple yet gargantuan track which you can see how he exactly made it here. A really good look into a mind of a producer. Highly recommended to all the producers who read the blog. Hopefully more producers will start doing a similar thing. DIRECT LINK:FELIX CARTAL – WORLD CLASS DRIVER (KEATCH REMIX) (320kbps)
Next up I’ve got a bootleg remix of Zombie Disco Squads “The Dance’ by a new producer called Ages, who for people who don’t know makes up 1 of the writers over on the Kidcity blog. Ages spruces things up with some extra percussion and and some new bass to make for a brilliant take on one of Zombie Disco Squads best songs. Having apparently locked himself in his room solely for production, its only a matter of time before he comes out in serious need of a tan but with a whole load a new tracks under his arm. Stay tuned!

New remix from Riotkid, now turned Manaré, of Brodinski and Yukseks colloboration project The Krays featuring Ebony Bones. After the massive success of his Speakeasy EP it seems like the wonder kid from Paris is rapidly turning into one of the major big hitters in the tech house scene. Check this track to see why.
